Eligibility

1. H.S (10+2) Examination of the Council of Higher Secondary Education, West Bengal or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Computer Application/ Technical Vocational Subject as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable) in all the three subjects as stated above in regular class mode.
2. At least 30% marks in English and minimum 45% marks in the above three subjects taken together.
3. Qualified Joint Entrance Examination conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board, JEE (Main) conducted by NTA and recommended by the WBJEE Board.
4. The Board of the said Qualifying Examination must be recognized by the Central Government or State Government concerned.

Fee Structure for General Student 2020-21

Tuition Fee (inclusive of Development Fee) for the General students admitted in 1st year Engineering in the Academic Year 2020-21 :

For the candidates through e-Counselling (General) WBJEE / JEE-Main 2020-21:

1. Balance Demand Draft / Pay Order (MICR only) of ₹29,800/- (Rupees Twenty nine thousand eight hundred) to be drawn in favour of “B. P. PODDAR INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT AND TECHNOLOGY”, (payable at Kolkata), out of the total payable fee ₹69,800/- at the time of Admission (inclusive of non refundable prospectus fee).
2. Original fee receipt of ₹40,000/- (Rupees forty thousand) paid at the time of allotment and final allotment paper to be submitted at the time of Admission.
3. Students should carry a Xerox copy of Draft / Pay order along with original draft/pay order & Xerox copy (03 Nos.) of all Allotment letter and original receipt to be submitted at the time of Admission.

Tuition Fee (inclusive of Development Fee) for the TFW students admitted in 1st year Engineering in the Academic Year 2020-21

For the candidates through e-Counselling (TFW) WBJEE / JEE-Main 2020-21:

1. Balance Demand Draft / Pay Order (MICR only) of ₹20,800/- (Rupees twenty thousand eight hundred) to be drawn in favour of “B. P. PODDAR INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT AND TECHNOLOGY”, (payable at Kolkata), out of the total payable fee ₹25,800/- at the time of Admission (inclusive of non refundable prospectus fee).
2. Original fee receipt of ₹5,000/- (Rupees five thousand) paid at the time of allotment and final allotment paper to be submitted at the time of Admission.
3. Students should carry a Xerox copy of Draft / Pay order along with original draft/pay order & Xerox copy (03 Nos.) of all Allotment letter and original receipt to be submitted at the time of Admission.

7. Affidavit of the Students & Guardian to abide by anti-ragging rules (in the prescribed forms of the college issued at the time of admission).

8. Medical and Eye Specialist Certificate (in the prescribed forms of the college).

1. No Provision for admission under any Reserved Category Quota viz SC,ST, OBC, Minority and PwD candidate.

1. Lateral Entry to second year B.Tech shall be permissible up to a maximum of 10% of the “approved intake” which shall be over and above, supernumerary to the “approved intake” plus unfilled vacancies of the first year.

Eligibility

1. Qualified JELET conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board.
2. Diploma from an AICTE approved Institution with at least 45% or equivalent CGPA considering all semesters / parts in Diploma examination without any back paper(s) in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology.

OR

1. B.Sc. from any University recognized by UGC with at least 45% and Mathematics in 12th standard examination
