Circuit theory laboratory imparts knowledge in areas like Circuit analysis in time as well as complex frequency domain, usage of Laplace transforms in engineering problems, introduction to Network Theorems, Two-port networks, Filters etc, i.e., modules which are essential perquisites for learning Control and Power Systems as well as Signal Processing in software as well as hardware. In a nutshell, a thorough experimental knowledge in Circuits is an absolute mandate for studying advanced courses in engineering as it forms a strong foundation for the same. The 2nd year students of the department of EE and ECE perform experiments in this laboratory in third semester. Apart from syllabus students perform additional experiments as beyond syllabus and micro projects which help them to add their knowledge and build team work mentality.
