Eligibility Criteria
Engineering Courses (B.Tech.) :

For Engineering/Technology courses Candidate must have passed the Qualifying Examination i.e. the
10+2’examination with Physics and Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry /
Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Computer Application as compulsory subjects with
individual pass marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable) in all the three
subjects as stated above in regular class mode.

Must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved
category) in the above three subjects taken together.

Must have passed English in the ‘10+2’ examination with at least 30% marks.

The Board of the said Qualifying Examination must be recognized by the Central
Government or State Government concerned.
Documents Required At The Time Of Admission For B.Tech Courses 2018-19
Four (04) sets attested Xerox copies of Marksheets for class X, Class XII and Admit Card of Class X (Secondary) along with all original testimonials
Four (04) numbers of Recent Coloured Passport size photographs.
Four (04) numbers of downloaded copies of Rank Card.
Original Allotment letter with Two Xerox copy of final Allotment.
Three (03) Xerox copy of Aadhar Card (if applicable).
Affidavit of the Students & his/her Guardian to abide by anti-ragging rules (in the prescribed forms of the college will be issued at the time of admission).
Medical and Eye Specialist Certificate (in the prescribed forms of the college)
Along with the above documents, we retain all other documents of the students with respect to their Admission Forms, Student Profile Forms, all forms related to
Anti Ragging and all other necessary documents required during the full tenure of the courses of the individual student.

Eligibility Criteria
Post Graduation Course (M.C.A) :
For admission in 3 years Masters in Computer Application Courses, the eligibility criteria are as follows:

UGC and/or AICTE Recognized (as the case may be) Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration except BBA with Mathematics at 10 + 2 level or
Graduation Level.
Obtained 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates) at graduation level.
Documents Required at The Time of Admission for MCA Course 2018-19
Four (04) sets attested Xerox copies of Marksheets class X, Class XII, , Graduation (all) and Admit Card of Class X
(Secondary) along with all original testimonials. Migration Certificate is required (in case of change from one University to another)
within 15 days from the date of admission.
Four (04) numbers of Recent Coloured Passport size photographs.

Eligibility Criteria for appearing in JELET-2018

Citizenship: Applicant must be a citizen of India.

Age Restriction:
There is no upper age limit for Diploma holders in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy.
For B.Sc Candidates, the upper age limit is 27 (twenty seven) years as on 31.12.2018
Eligibility Criteria for Admission
Undergraduate Engineering Courses 2nd Year B.Tech (Lateral Entry)

Diploma holders in Engineering / Technological have to pass Diploma
Examination from an AICTE approved Institution with at least 45% marks or equivalent CGPA considering all
semesters / parts in Diploma examination without any back paper(s) (40% in case of
candidates belonging to reserved category) in appropriate branch of
Engineering / Technology.

B.Sc. Degree holders have to pass B.Sc. from a recognized University as defined by UGC
with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and
also have to pass higher secondary (10 + 2) with Mathematics as a subject.

Diploma and B.Sc. Degree holders have to be merit listed in the JELET – 2018 conducted
by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board to become eligible for admission
under Lateral Entry Scheme.
